My Thoughts on the Work
When I first sketched this piece, there was only the question: Why?
Why a skeleton? What for? Is it really about Earthy Remains? What needs healing?
I had many questions and no answers for many months.
Just as Aries contemplated retrograde, I had a challenging conversation. I’d felt pressed to pretend I’d suffered abuse in childhood from a mother who had undiagnosed disorders. This had not been my reality. My experience was completely denied. I was angry. I was hurt. I cried.
And I saw I had something to heal. What precisely was still energized? How do I fix it?
I sat with it. I asked The Folk for help. I waited.
This Answer Came.
The wound Is healed. I am different. It’s Beautiful.
