I had the brilliant idea that a little blue beaded bag would make a perfect purse for those times when I really didn’t want to lug a purse around. It’d be light and easy to carry, fashionable, dressy or casual. Plus, blue goes with just about everything in my closet. So, I began crocheting.
Then, I got distracted. I set my little blue beaded bag aside half complete in favor of something else. I no longer remember what that something might have been. I realized months later that another purse of any kind wasn’t really what I needed and shoved it further down in my yarn and beading stash.
Two years later, I came across that little blue beaded bag and wondered why I hadn’t finished it ages ago. In a matter of just a couple of hours, my little blue beaded bag was completed. It’s big enough to hold my card wallet and a set of keys, maybe a tube of lip balm, too. The ribbon’s long enough to hook around a belt or loop around my wrist. It’s cute and classic…and best of all, it’s completed!
