I have a big bin for the odd partial skeins of yarn that are left-over from projects I’ve completed. This winter, I realized it was a trifle too full. So, I designed these simple fingerless gloves to use up a few of the odd balls in there. This pattern assumes you know how to cable, but the cable here is easy enough for a beginner. You can use any cast on you like. The pattern is super easy and knits up quickly.
The yarns in my samples are chunky wool blends. The gauge on the labels was size 10 US needles for 3.5 stitches per inch.
Yarn needed: 3.0 oz/84 g. for Men’s, 2.0 oz/55 g for Women’s
Equipment: 4 Size 9 US/5.5mm double-pointed needles
